Owned and operated farms in Miami and Ocala, Florida, and Alabama. Obtained global recognition for having bred, raised, trained and shown over 100 victorious Paso Fino horses including several national and world championships. Bred, raised and owned the two most renowned Paso Fino stallions in the world “Profeta de Besilu” and “Simbolo de Besilu,” both Grand World Title Champions.

Chief Executive Officer and Sole Stockholder 1970-1988
Directed overall activities of this federally qualified H.M.O. with over 700 employees. The operations included several operating sites covering Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Assisted in the development of the original HMO Act of October 1, 1972. Was instrumental in obtaining the first HMO license awarded by the state of Florida to CAC.
Pioneered one of the first HMO Medicare prepaid plans by obtaining a federal contract in a demonstration project. Opened the first outpatient surgical center in Florida and operated the first Medicaid prepaid pilot program in the State.
Began career in CAC in 1971 as Center Administrator, was promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 1972, and to President and Chief Executive Officer in 1977.
Purchased CAC from American Medical International in 1979. Later, sold the company in 1988 to the Ramsay Group from Australia.
